Symposium Information

Scope

As for the previous 7 editions held in 1985, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, and 2010, presentations will be organized around the following key technical issues or systems and components : Pressure Vessel, Pressure Vessel Internals, Stainless Steel Corrosion, Piping, Pumps, Valves, Steam Generator, Steam-Water Systems, Turbine, Alternator, Fuel, Control Rod Assembly and Civil Engineering
This conference mainly deals with LWRs field experience from the materials point of view. For example, irradiation surveillance programs, corrosion or fatigue problems, aging management … are in the scope of the conference.

Language

English is the official language of the Symposium for oral and poster presentations and for publications.

Publications

Abstracts (PDF documents) submitted during the Call for Papers period and selected will be included in the Book of Abstracts given onsite to each delegate.

Full papers [oral and poster selections] will be published on the symposium CD-Rom.

Significant papers may be published in the SFEN official publication: "Revue Générale Nuclaire".

A post conference CD Rom will include full papers, oral presentations slides and poster boards presentations.
